A Brewmaster BridgingTwo Worlds
Ryan Brooks has always loved beer. When he wasn't travelling the world behind a drumkit, he was homebrewing. A lot. He eventually turned this into a career, working his way up to Brewmaster at one of San Diego's most award-winning breweries. While honing his brewing chops in San Diego, Ryan moved to Tijuana where he judged homebrew competitions, made tons of friends and met his wife. Ryan now lives in SD, but his heart is in Baja. It's this cross-border connection that makes Ryan the perfect SouthNorte brewer.
The SouthNorte Way
SouthNorte aims to bring the authentic flavor of Mexico to American craft beer. Here at the crossroads, the blend of influences from each side give the locals a bit of home no matter where they are. We just want to bottle that feeling so everyone can enjoy their own SouthNorte whenever the thirst hits. ¡Salud y Cheers!
